In our efforts to help our new incoming members have a smooth and welcoming transition we will be implementing an ” ON RAMP” program. Our “ON RAMP” classes will only be offered 2 more times this year and capped at 15 people. Why are we capping it? Because we feel we can comfortably help 15 people and want you to get our best version. With that being said, we will expect you to give us your best version. What does this mean in regards to being able to join CrossFit Reformation ? This will be 1 of 3 ways to join CrossFit Reformation. The other option will be to pay for 10 1 on 1 personal training sessions, and our last option will be to have 6 months at a current CrossFit Affiliate and be able to test in.
Why have we decided to do this?
For one, we want you to make a long term commitment. There is no such thing as a short cut to health and fitness and if someone tells you that, I would run the other way because they will most likely take your money and run as well.
Anyone that has have been doing this for a while, can tell you that it takes a lot of time and effort to learn everything we do at CrossFit Reformation. It is one thing to know and do the movements properly, which in itself is hard enough, but we feel that the “why” you are doing the movements is also just as important. This goes along the lines of our philosophy that anyone can make you SORE, but a good program will make you BETTER!
Wait, being sore doesn’t mean it’s good? Well if a horse kicked you, you would be sore, but did the kick make you better? Hmmmm, probably a little smarter by knowing that you don’t ever want to experience getting kicked again. You get where I am going with this. With that being said it is hard to teach movements and the “why” we do what we do, and how to scale movements in a class that is moving at full speed.
What will you be getting out of our “ON RAMP” program?
After our ten-class “ON RAMP” program, you will have the necessary tools, skills and progressions to be able to jump into any of our regular classes and not feel like you are lost. You will know where you are at and what progressions you should be implementing. But, we will never expect you to know everything and never ask questions. Just like anything in life you will always be learning, so please don’t ever feel like you can’t ask questions.

- Olympic Lifting
Kettle bell Movements:
- Russian Swing
- American Swing
- Double Russian Swing
- Long Cycle (Single Bell)
- Double Kettle Bell Long Cycle
- You will learn why we do what we do and have a basic understanding of why we program versus select workouts randomly.
- We will teach you basic skills/ progressions that progressively become more technical as you become comfortable.

There are exceptions to getting out of your contract, and will be addressed on an individual basis. Wanting to quit and get out of your contract is not one of them. Why a contract and why do we want you to you commit long term versus short term? You can ask any one of our members that every one of our coaches here at CrossFit Reformation takes pride in what we do and spend a lot of time and effort working with our members to help them go from thinking something is impossible to possible, and making them the best version of themselves. This goes back to our previous statement that this isn’t something that will help you reach your goals in one month or two. The longer you commit to a healthy lifestyle the better off you will be.
