Recovery Day 04.03.14

Thursday’s are a scheduled recovery day. Not everyone is following a 3 on 1 off 2 on 1 off schedule(yet). A lot of you guys are doing 2 times a week, some 3. So you ask yourself if Thursday is a scheduled recovery day what will I be doing? You can make up one of the workouts that was programmed during the week. For those that will be coming in you can either make up a workout you missed, or work on any skill you feel needs improvement . Feel free to ask questions, work on technique…. If you are following a 3 on 1 off 2 on 1 off, and come in we recommend to do something light and work on mechanics of the movements. Active recovery of some sort, mobility work is good.

This was an awesome fun morning! Love 5:00 AM workouts (I don’t get them very often)! Did WOD from April 1st, 2014 and it was no joke! Completed the prep. work and then got set up- “Three bars all to myself!” I did my Dead Lift’s @ 155 lbs, My Bench- cross grip- @ 65Lbs, and my Clean’s @ 85lbs- 10-8-6-4-2… At set Eight on dead lifts I felt like I had a big smile on my face and I was laughing in my head at that moment I was like this stuck’s! 🙂 I finished in 9:15 good time and felt amazing! After I rowed 30 cal, airdyned 30 cal, did 10 toes to bar, and 30 row planks with 10 lbs DB’s! Mobility completed as well!

Today I did yesterday’s running WOD. It wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be….that said it was still running…at least I brought my headphones. I think that helped!!!
