Recovery Day 04.17.14

Also we will be having a muscle up clinic April 26th at 12:30-2ish($20) Get signed up for this ASAP we will be going over all the progressions you should take to get your muscle up.
Thursday’s are a scheduled recovery day. Not everyone is following a 3 on 1 off 2 on 1 off schedule(yet). A lot of you guys are doing 2 times a week, some 3. So you ask yourself if Thursday is a scheduled recovery day what will I be doing? You can make up one of the workouts that was programmed during the week. For those that will be coming in you can either make up a workout you missed, or work on any skill you feel needs improvement . Feel free to ask questions, work on technique…. If you are following a 3 on 1 off 2 on 1 off, and come in we recommend to do something light and work on mechanics of the movements. Active recovery of some sort, mobility work is good.
Jackie = 15:10- did row in under five- thrusters did 55lbs. Really thought it was 45lbs.- but felt good- again those dang pull-ups killed me
I also PRed on my Thruster- 100lbs. Attempted 105- a couple times, no go!

Got to finally get in an attempt at jackie. Finished in 9:56. Split the thrusters 20-20-10 but never put the bar on the ground. Still doing my pull-ups one at a time. It’s on on-going learning process.
Got 170 on my max effort thruster. Couldn’t quite lock out 175. 5#PR for me.
