Whats your excuse?!


Thursday’s are a scheduled recovery day. Not everyone is following a 3 on 1 off 2 on 1 off schedule(yet). A lot of you guys are doing 2 times a week, some 3. So you ask yourself if Thursday is a scheduled recovery day what will I be doing? You can make up one of the workouts that was programmed during the week. For those that will be coming in you can either make up a workout you missed, or work on any skill you feel needs improvement . Feel free to ask questions, work on technique…. If you are following a 3 on 1 off 2 on 1 off, and come in we recommend to do something light and work on mechanics of the movements. Active recovery of some sort, mobility work is good.

    Took a 30 sec rest between each round
    Total 6rnds+10

    3×30 hollow rocks. My core is so weak it’s embarrassing. New goal take 3 weeks to focus on core strength.

    Made up CHIEF today. 65# power clean. Did 12 rounds and only made it to 3 power cleans and 6 push ups for the next round. Still frustrated with my quads but taking it slowly.

    Got through second round of burpees.

    Made up Mondays workout “The Chief” with 95 lb clean & jerk. Completely lost count of rounds….
    Push ups are always the first to go strength wise….trying to get stronger by pushing through. Liked this workout….was challenging but kinda fun.
