If you haven’t noticed by now. We have hats and sweatshirt available at the gym come on by and check them out. I was planning on getting pictures up but it has been a pretty busy day.
Nutrition is something that we have not spoken a lot about since we have been open, but is one of the most important things that we should address. Everyone is different but we can all follow very similar guid lines. What we all need to know that nutrition is not about following a diet. Proper nutrition is a lifestyle. Don’t try to fool yourself into thinking that you can get proper nutrition without altering your lifestyle. There is no easy answer or magic bullet. Only education and consistently sound choices every day will sustain a lifestyle of proper nutrition. Nutrition also shouldn’t become an obsession that inhibits your daily life. Everyone lets loose from time to time and shares some birthday cake or ice cream with friends. Finding the happy medium is the key to achieving your goals. In an effort to help we will be offering a FREE NUTRITION class next Saturday November 16th at 11am.
Thursday’s are a scheduled recovery day. Not everyone is following a 3 on 1 off 2 on 1 off schedule(yet). A lot of you guys are doing 2 times a week, some 3. So you ask yourself if Thursday is a scheduled recovery day what will I be doing? You can make up one of the workouts that was programmed during the week. For those that will be coming in you can either make up a workout you missed, or work on any skill you feel needs improvement . Feel free to ask questions, work on technique…. If you are following a 3 on 1 off 2 on 1 off, and come in I recommend to do something light and work on mechanics of the movements. Active recovery of some sort, mobility work is good.
